She has jokes!
Incredibly fit, Megan Fox took to Instagram on Friday to post a photo of her rocking the neon green two-piece outfit she wore to Machine Gun Kelly’s latest show.
Despite the fact that the actress’ six-pack abs and perfectly toned arms were fully featured in the photo, Fox captioned the image amusingly: “I don’t exercise. If God had wanted me to bend over, he would have put diamonds on the floor.”
In the comments section, the rocker dropped three diamond emojis, probably hoping his equally sexual twin flame would bend over to pick them up.
The words were first uttered by the late comedian Joan Rivers, whose long career was full of self-deprecation.
But if Fox’s post did anything, it proved how much she is doing to work out.
In 2014, less than six months after welcoming her second child with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, the actress stepped out for the premiere of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” looking absolutely shredded.
“I work out really hard twice a week,” she told E! News at the time, noting that she had “kicked her ass” earlier that morning.
She explained that her workout routine included “bursts of cardio with really heavy weights.” And of her diet, she said she had “left out all the bread and those kinds of carbs. No crackers, no pretzels, no chips.”
The “Jennifer’s Body” star noted that she consumed “nothing unhealthy,” adding, “The worst thing I put into my body is coffee once a day.”
In fact, Fox was so committed to her health and fitness journey that she told the outlet she had “no cheat days.”
“I don’t eat splurge,” she explained. “I do something, or I don’t do it at all. And I do that now.”
In 2012, Fox’s then personal trainer revealed exactly how her client bounced back so quickly after the birth of her first child with Green.
“We trained her entire pregnancy,” wrote Harley Pasternak for People, adding that Fox “educated herself tremendously and had a great relationship with her doctor so she really understood the safe limits of how to exercise and eat right during the pregnancy.”
“Within a few weeks” of Noah’s arrival, Fox was back in the gym.
“We didn’t start at full speed,” Pasternak warned. “We’ve been framed.”
Fox, 36, is mother to sons Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5. Their father, Green, welcomed another boy, Zane, with “Dancing with the Stars” pro Sharna Burgess on June 28.
