Mark Zuckerberg shared footage from a recent wakeboard excursion to Instagram Reels Saturday, with the clip of him navigating the waves to Glass Animals’ “Heat Waves” – Wow, Zuck, very meta indeed!

The Meta CEO wove back and forth across the wake of the boat during the clip, captioning the post “Some Saturday bends.”

The tech juggernaut initially holds on to a rope attached to the craft and pulls it across the surface of the water, gaining momentum until finally dropping the rope and moving on, floating forward alone.

The video lasts less than a minute and ends with the Facebook founder still gliding triumphantly, his speed barely slowing down as he maintains his balance on the board — thus denying Reel viewers the sight of it gradually slowing down enough to to deposit his billionaire cargo in the surrounding lake.

The location resembles in appearance the background of a video posted on July 4, 2021, which shows Zuckerberg on an electronic surfboard waving an American flag. It is suspected to be Lake Tahoe, on which the director purchased a sprawling estate in 2018.
