This will give you a pizza.
Lil Nas X decided to hit the highway on Sunday night when a group of “street ministry” protesters showed up for his concert in Boston, Massachusetts.
“So people [sic] protested my concert last night,” the controversial rapper, 23, wrote of a TikTok video, adding: “So we brought them pizza.”
In the video, one of the crew members of the “Montero” rapper brought boxes of pizza to the singing crowd – which they refused.
Some protesters carried placards that read, “Jesus is God, even demons know” and “Repent and believe the gospel.”
Halfway through the video – which has already been viewed more than 1.6 million times in 2 hours – the rapper “Industry Baby” made a shocking revelation.
“But unfortunately one of the homophobes was really hot,” he wrote as the camera zoomed in on a protester as Sufjan Stevens’ song “Mystery of Love” started playing.
Lil Nas X, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, posted the same clip to Twitter and joked that while the protesters declined the food, he “accidentally fell in love with one of the homophobic protesters.”
Fans, on the other hand, were quick to praise the kind gesture — and his ability to find humor in the situation.
“You KNOW they wanted to accept that pizza too ️” one commented.
“it just means you made it,” added another, “they did that with Gaga in 2011 too.”
Others joked that the rapper should find the man in the video: “We love a beautiful, emotional story of enemies of lovers. Go for him Nas I believe in you 🥰.”
Last year, Lil Nas X was heavily criticized by religious groups when he released a raunchy music video for his song “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name).”
In the video, the singer challenged Christian teachings on sex and homosexuality when he descended into hell via a stripper pole, became a sex slave and gave Satan a lap dance.
The demonic images did not suit many conservative groups, who claimed the rapper was promoting “gay agendas and demonic images.”
Just a day later, Nas added more fuel to the fire when he released a limited-edition “Satan Shoes” containing “one drop of human blood” each.
The series of shocking decisions caused “satanic panic” for many – which they apparently have not forgotten.
