Kourtney Kardashian dips a toe – or rather finger – into sister Kim’s summer trend of choice.
In late July, the founder of Skims launched Swim Gloves ($48) as part of her brand’s latest swimwear, after several months of incorporating the unusual accessories into her beach and pool ensembles.
Despite now being sold out in most colors and sizes, the gloves spread those on social media, inspiring jokes about the “knotty brown lines” and jokes including“You just buy whatever” [the Kardashians] to make.”
But Kourtney certainly seems to be on board: On Sunday, the new Mrs. Barker wore a black pair of Skims gloves along with her one-piece zipper ($88) while on vacation with her family.
“I💙lake life”, the founder of Poosh exulted on Instagram.
Bestie Steph Shepherd replied, “Life in the lake suits you,” and sister and new mom Khloé Kardashian called her “the cutest.”
Not everyone understood Kourtney’s covered swimming style, however. “Why are you wearing gloves?” asked one person, prompting answers including, “To prevent sun damage” and “Why aren’t you wearing gloves?”
According to the Skims website, the “trend-setting” elbow-length gloves “will instantly enhance your swim look” and “make a sexy splash everywhere you go.”
