Kanye West turned on Hailey Bieber after defending Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for criticizing his ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirts.
During his week of drama, the rapper shared a screenshot – after googling his name – of an E! News article about Bieber’s support for Karefa-Johnson.
“Wait, have I canceled again???” the fashion designer, 45, wrote in the Instagram post. “Justin” [Bieber] let me know.”
On Tuesday, Hailey expressed her support for the fashion editor after West blatantly bullied her.
“My respect for you runs deep my friend!,” the model wrote on her Instagram Stories, adding that “to know you is to love you and work with you is an honor. the most kind. the most talented. the nicest. the most chic.”
The 25-year-old – and other A-list stars – also supported Karefa-Johnson on Wednesday when the fashion editor first spoke out after finding herself in the midst of Ye’s wrath.
“One thing about me: I will always speak my mind and always try to honor my truth. My thoughts are mine, and I stay with them. Thank you all for supporting me in this,” the 30-year-old trendsetter wrote via Instagram Story.
However, in a separate post, she described the extreme “fat phobia” she has faced online since the “Danda” rapper openly mocked her in front of his 17.9 million followers.
“I’ve been experiencing severe volatility in the past few days, but nothing is worse than what people have said about my body and how I look,” wrote Karefa-Johnson, adding that regardless of the comments, “she’s not humiliated to be my authentic to appear in the world himself.”
While West doesn’t seem sure he’s “canceled again,” many fashion insiders don’t see him coming back from this most recent collection, which he showcased at Paris Fashion Week.
A fashion insider told Vidak For Congress exclusively: “It’s a cover. People were outraged and outraged.”
However, another stood by the fashion designer and said, “If you’ve got money, you’ll never get canceled.”
