Kanye West Adds ‘White Lives Matter’ To Bella Hadid Dress

Don’t expect to see the Hadids at future Yeezy shows.

Late Wednesday night, Kanye West posted an Instagram photo of Bella Hadid’s viral spray-on dress from the Coperni show during Paris Fashion Week.

But the 45-year-old rapper added the words “White Lives Matter” to the front of Hadid’s headline-making look — a nod to the controversial T-shirts he sent over his own runway on Monday, which were printed with the same offensive slogan.

“OH AND I HAVE A SHIRT DRESS TEOOOOOO LOAN GOOD ARTIST AMAZING ARTIST STEEEAL IT’S LOUVRE,” Yeezy’s founder wrote in the post.

West’s jab at Bella comes after her older sister Gigi taunted the rapper for ridiculing Vogue editor and stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who had called the “White Lives Matter” shirts “deeply offensive, violent and dangerous.”

“You wish you had a percentage of her intellect. You have no idea haha… If there really is a point to one of your s–ts, she might be the only person who can save you,” Hadid, 27, responded to one of West’s messages.

“As if the ‘honour’ of being invited to your show should stop anyone from speaking up..? LOL. You’re a bully and a joke.”

After Karefa-Johnson shared her critique of West’s collection, the musician mocked her personal style on social media, prompting many industry insiders — including the Hadids, who have worked with Karefa-Johnson on several projects — to show their support for the stylist testified.

West later said he and the stylist sat down and made amends.

“GABBY IS MY SISTER,” Ye wrote on Instagram on Tuesday evening. “I DON’T LET PEOPLE GO TO BED THINK I HAVE NOT MEET GABRIELLE AT 5PM TODAY FOR 2 AM.

He also claimed that the conversation was filmed by “Elvis” director Baz Luhrmann at the request of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

“WE OBLIGATE EACH OTHER FOR THE WAY WE FEEL THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY GO TOGETHER AND HAVE BOTH EXPERIENCED THE BATTLE FOR ACCEPTANCE IN A WORLD THAT IS NOT OUR OWN,” he added.

But Gigi jumped into the comments, objecting to the way West addressed the editor so informally after his attacks.

“It’s Gabriella,” she responded to his post.

Karefa-Johnson spoke out during the drama Tuesday night, sharing on her Instagram stories: “One thing about me: I will always speak my mind and always try to honor my truth. My thoughts are mine, and I stand by them. Thank you all to support me in that.”

Other stars who have publicly denounced West’s “White Lives Matter” shirts include Hailey Bieber, Jaden Smith, Kendall Jenner and Jodie Turner-Smith. Sean “Diddy” Combs also weighed in, calling West a “freethinker” but criticized his tees as “tone deaf”.

Meanwhile, Drake seemed to show his support for West when he liked Ye’s Instagram post, in which he trolls Bieber; the “Praise God” provocateur proudly shared a screenshot of his fellow rapper’s endorsement.

“EVERYONE KNOW ME AND DRAKE HAS HAD A RIVAL IN THE PAST, IT REALLY HEATED MY HEART TO SEE DRAKE AS ONE OF MY POST. WE STILL NEED THE DONDA TEAM TO PLAY NOCTA ALL DRAKE WORD MUSIC WILL AT DONDA GAMES MOVING FORWARD,” West captioned the post.

Through it all, West has continued to champion his “White Lives Matter” designs.
