Pete Davidson isn’t the only comedian in his new movie.
Davidson’s “Meet Cute” co-star Kaley Cuoco couldn’t resist the temptation to praise the “Saturday Night Live” alum over his ultra-casual ensemble during Tuesday’s premiere of the Peacock flick.
While Cuoco, 36, looked glamorous in a glittering Dolce & Gabbana blazer dress on the red carpet, 28-year-old Davidson appeared dressed for a completely different event in his white hoodie, green sweatpants and sneakers.
“I’m glad Pete got dressed for the occasion. I’m so happy,” Cuoco jokingly told Entertainment Tonight, before directing the same joke directly to her cast mate.
“I’m really glad you’re dressed up tonight,” said the “Flight Attendant” star, as the “SNL” comedian assumed a sheepish pose.
Despite recently dating style star Kim Kardashian and modeling for brands ranging from Alexander Wang to H&M, the ‘King of Staten Island’ has more or less maintained its signature ‘scumbro’ style over the years.
While he’s gotten more formal for a handful of big events — like the Met Gala in 2022 and the White House Correspondents’ Dinner the same year, both of which he attended with his former flame — he’s mostly seen in casual duds.
And while Davidson never got a major movie-worthy makeover during his time with the Skims mogul, his closet did, with his vast collection of hoodies now displayed in neat, color-coordinated rows.
Looks like he pulled one out for this special occasion.
