Beck to base.
Actor-turned-rocker Johnny Depp joined forces with Jeff Beck as the pair kicked off their North American tour last week before heading to New York.
The duo will take the stage in back-to-back performances at The Paramount in Huntington, Long Island on October 14-15. The show will feature special guest Desure.
Tickets for every show are nearly sold out with resale tickets fetching anywhere from $214 to $746 VIP packages, according to Ticketmaster.
Only seven tickets remain between the two shows. The hall has a capacity of 1,573 people.
Beck and Depp kicked off the 29-date tour on September 23 near Austin, Texas, and will run through November 12, ending in Reno, Nevada.
Depp, 59, has performed several times this year with Beck, 78, including the recent UK tour by the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer.
The duo’s performance received a lot of attention when it took place while Depp awaited the jury decision in his packed defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.
The pair performed together several times earlier this year and released an album called “18” on July 15.
Eight-time Grammy Award winner Beck was twice inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; in 1992, and in 2009 while Depp dabbled in the music scene for years. He even formed the band Hollywood Vampires with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.
Depp and Beck’s album was released just weeks after the actor won his much-discussed lawsuit against Heard.
Depp originally sued Heard for $50 million in 2019, claiming the actress lied that he abused her to get more money in their divorce settlement. A year later, his ex-wife sued him for $100 million.
Ultimately, the jury ordered Heard to pay the 59-year-old actor $10 million in damages plus $350,000 in punitive damages after deciding she defamed the actor in the 2018 op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post.
But after the counterclaim she filed, which ordered Depp to pay $2 million, and the state of Virginia’s limit on damages, Heard had to pay $5 million — money she says she doesn’t have.
Heard has since asked the judge to quash the jury’s verdict, alleging that the verdict was not supported by the evidence.
