Jesse Williams’ ex Aryn Drake-Lee seems to debunk his upbringing

It’s “voucher season”.

Jesse Williams’ ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, took to social media to blast the actor’s parenting choices after he requested an emergency hearing.

“Is it good for the health and well-being of a 7- and 8-year-old to be regularly taken out of school to fly across the country at night with red eye to be grounded for two days?” the broker asked on Instagram on Wednesday.

‘Is it reasonable for them to return dazed and confused and expect to live in school for the rest of the week? I do not think so!”

Drake-Lee continued: “Even none of the parents who really age on a routine basis. There is a name for the condition of an adult who expects his children to enjoy, care [sic] and service to the wishes of the adult at the expense of the children…”

The mother of two – who shares 8-year-old Sadie and 7-year-old Maceo with Williams – capped off with the hashtags “#receiptsseason” and “#ihavestayedquietforfartoolong.”

In March, a Los Angeles judge ruled that Williams would have shortened custody time with his children because he would be staying in New York for his role in the Broadway play “Take Me Out.”

The actor got four consecutive days with his kids — and two of those days could be weekend days — while working in the Big Apple. However, he was told he could not cancel and then “undo” a date, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

It appears that Drake-Lee was unhappy with the court’s decision.

Williams alleged in a lawsuit this week that his ex-wife will not allow his children to return to New York for his second stint on Broadway.

“I recently agreed to perform on the second run of ‘Take Me Out’ starting in October 2022 and ending in January 2023,” the Broadway star explained, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

“The piece will start in October 2022 and will last at least until January 2023. At the beginning of October I will return to New York to start rehearsals. I’ve asked Aryn to respect the court’s prior order so that I can continue to spend quality time with our children while I’m in New York. Aryn refused.”

Williams requested an emergency hearing so that he and the children “don’t lose our precious time together”.

The controversial exes have struggled to co-parent together since their breakup five years ago.

In April 2021, Williams and Drake-Lee were instructed to attend high-conflict parenting classes.

Williams representatives did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment on Drake-Lee’s social media post.
