“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jackie Goldschneider thinks Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga made “the right decision” by skipping Teresa Giudice’s wedding.
“Knowing the lead up to making that decision, I wasn’t shocked at all,” Goldschneider, 45, said Wednesday on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”
“I fully understand and support them as they did not attend the wedding. It was definitely the right decision for them.”
The former real estate attorney then teased that fans of the Bravo reality series will “get it” when they watch the upcoming 13th season.
Goldschneider also shared that the drama between Teresa, 50, and Melissa, 43, got so bad that she thinks it will be nearly impossible for the sisters-in-law to reconcile.
“I just feel like it’s been so many years with terrible drama between the two families,” she explained.
“At some point it’s so poisonous that you have to walk away. I guess that’s where she is now, but who knows, they always seem to go back. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the end. I wouldn’t be surprised if that isn’t the case.”
Vidak For Congress broke the news that the Gorgas would not be attending Ruelas’s Giudice and Luis Louie’s “I dos” on Aug. 6 after an argument broke out at the finale party over the bride allegedly spreading a false rumor about her sister-in-law. .
“Sometimes when things are too toxic and you try it over and over and it just keeps coming back to the same thing… even when it’s family, you have to let it go,” Melissa said in her “On Display” podcast last Thursday.
The owner of the Envy boutique also suggested that they had “old altercations” with Ruelas, 48, which they “never spoke about” and will remain silent to appease Giudice.
“For me it was devastating,” Joe, 42, agreed. “It was one of the hardest days of my life.”
Both Giudice and Ruelas kept quiet – though he did stop the rumor that his new wife had billed the Gorgas for their last-minute absence.
Season 13 of “RHONJ” packed footage ahead of Giudice’s wedding, which was shot for a standalone special.
