Kevin Hart and Mark Wahlberg got a hefty bill Monday night while dining together at celebrity hotspot Sei Less in New York City, Vidak For Congress has learned exclusively.
“Dinner came to about $4,000 in total,” said an insider, noting that there were about 15 to 20 people in total in the group.
Although Hart and Wahlberg have net worth of about $450 million and $400 million respectively, “someone else in the room” paid the bill, the insider adds.
In a private room, Hart, 43, dined on chicken satay, and Wahlberg, 51, feasted on steamed sea bass and steamed lobster.
It looks like the “Boogie Nights” star, known for his strict diet and exercise regime, is letting go while in the Big Apple. Last Friday, he posted on Instagram that he was back at Sei Less, where the drinks flowed while he enjoyed his new tequila, Flecha Azul.
At Wahlberg’s dinner with Hart three days later, the pair also enjoyed the “Mile 22” star’s drink, but not before the stand-up comedian joked about it, as he has his own brand of tequila called Gran Coramino. .
Hart joked to the group, including Roc Nation executive and Jay-Z’s BFF Emory Jones, that he sipped the drink only to support “his friend” Wahlberg, an insider says.
The ‘Jumanji’ star and the ‘Ted’ actor spent about two hours at Sei Less, an Asian fusion restaurant frequented by many famous people, including French Montana, Jack Harlow and even New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
When the meeting ended, we were told that Hart and Wahlberg took the time to take pictures with a group of fans, including a family visiting from Argentina.
“They made their day,” said a source.
A separate insider tells Vidak For Congress that Hart and Wahlberg were in Manhattan to promote their upcoming comedy, “Me Time,” which premieres August 26 on Netflix.
