If Alan Cumming could relive his life, he’d avoid some exes

Second cumming?

Alan Cumming – whose new documentary is about a 30-year-old man who pretends to be a teenager to return to high school – said there are parts of his life he would like to take over with Mulligan.

“There are so many occasions that I’d like to go back to,” he told us while promoting the film, “There are people I’ve been in a relationship with that I’d probably say no to right now.

“But knowing what I know, [I’d choose to] go back to my 20th. When I started working as an actor, I wish I realized that it was okay to be an individual and that being unusual and different is a positive thing.”

The film ‘My Old School’ is about Scot Brandon Lee, presumably a 15-year-old who enrolled at the Bearsden Academy in Glasgow in 1993. But two years later, it was discovered that Lee was actually a 30-year-old man. who the first time he went to high school was not good enough to go to medical school, so he re-enrolled in hopes of becoming a doctor the second time.

Cumming has an unusual role in the project. Lee agreed to be recorded and tell his story in his own words, but did not want to appear in front of the camera. So Cumming lip-syncs along with Lee’s description of events.
