Sugar Bear looks cheerful.
Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s father, whose real name is Mike Thompson, recently had a complete cosmetic and dental makeover, and the results are truly incredible.
“I haven’t stopped looking in the mirror,” he said in a statement. “I don’t recognize the man in the mirror.”
“I never thought I could have a smile that I would be proud of and I really love the Botox because I look much younger,” he added.
In the dramatic “after” photo, Mama June’s ex — who normally covered his receding hairline with a baseball cap and smiled with his mouth shut — beams at the camera with straight, white teeth and a fuller hairline.
The reality star, 50, took to Hollywood for his new look, which included a smile reboot, Botox and a hair transplant totaling $66,800, per Brian Edwards of Sugar Bear’s management team, Gitoni.
His fuller locks are thanks to a $30,000 procedure by Jacques Abrahamian at the LA FUE Hair Clinic in Pasadena, in which the reality star received “more than 3,500 FUE grafts to restore the first half of his scalp,” the rep said.
Moving on to his smile, Sugar Bear had 20 teeth removed by Dr. Joseph Goodman in Beverly Hills, who then added snap-on dentures to give the appearance of glossy white veneer.
He was also given Botox to smooth out the lines on his forehead, as well as around his eyes and eyebrows.
Sugar Bear isn’t the only Thompson looking to change his looks these days – Honey Boo Boo, 16, is planning to undergo weight loss surgery along with her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, 21.
As for the elder Thompson – who divorced wife Jennifer Lamb in late 2021 – he ran into a famous face at manager Gina Rodriguez’s home last week, and fans couldn’t get enough of the epic Instagram photo.
Lamar Odom posted a photo of himself standing next to the “Mama June” star, with Sugar Bear not even reaching the basketball player’s shoulders.
“You never know who you’ll run into in my manager’s bed…..SB!” he posted, tagged @realsugarbear and added two crying laughing emojis.
“I thought I recognized him,” commented one fan. “You both look great and seem to be in good places.”
Another follower pointed to Sugar Bear’s makeover, writing, “Hey, I just saw your new teeth and they look really amazing! You’ve never looked so good.”
