Never short of chic, The Hamptons managed to be even more glamorous with a weekend full of fashion brand parties.
Gucci held a big party at stylist Elizabeth Saltzman’s estate in East Hampton, where guests took golf carts to the grounds. A-listers like supermodel Christy Turlington, Spike Lee, fashion veteran Bethann Hardison, Natasha Lyonne, Sophia Bush and socialites like Athena Calderone and Casey Fremont took to a neon-colored dance floor and got to work on tunes by Mark Ronson and Kitty Cash.
Christian Louboutin hosted lunch at Duryea’s in Montauk for their new Greekaba capsule collection, which served ouzo and octopus with live music from a traditional bouzouki player. New single Minka Kelly, whose ex Trevor Noah has been around with friends this summer, was spotted at the event. Other guests showing off their “red bums” included “White Lotus,” star Lukas Gage and celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson.
And another day, another celebrity drink launch. Model Bella Hadid made the rounds promoting her new non-alcoholic brand Kin Euphorics while hanging out at the local John’s Drive-In in Montauk. She also teamed up with Bumble for dinner at The Ranch with guests including her sister Alana, Selby Drummond and artist Lucien Smith.
Saving money for their star event, Saks flew guests in a Blade helicopter for dinner at the Lobster Roll, affectionately known to locals as Lunch, with host Keke Palmer.
Palmer, who will star in the new Jordan Peele movie ‘Nope’, mingled with guests such as designers Prabal Gurung, Brandon Maxwell and LaQuan Smith.
Designer Christian Cowan had a close call to the event. We are told that after we realized he had left his phone behind, the quick-thinking organizers sent him in an Escalade after him. Fortunately, they managed to catch up with him before boarding his helicopter back to town.
Meanwhile, new mom Nicky Hilton, who had just given birth to her third child with husband James Rothschild, showed up at the LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton for an event for U Beauty’s Tina Craig and Luxury Stores at Amazon’s Sally Singer and Kelsey O’Brien Tubbs. . Rachel Zoe, Tommy Dorfman and Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach also attended the intimate dinner, which included a performance by hip singer Moses Sumney.
Craig also hosted an event with luxury designer Sally LaPointe, who showed off her feather-filled Pre-Fall collection at The Reform Club in Amagansett to well-heeled guests.
And fashion bible Daily Summer brought the influencers for yoga and brunch at Bounce Beach Montauk with designer Nicole Miller, who created the staff uniforms at the hotspot.
Dior will also be released in Montauk this summer, with a pop-up at Gurney’s Resort.
