Former Governor Andrew Cuomo Resurfaces in the Hamptons

Former Governor Andrew Cuomo has re-emerged on the Hamptons social scene, hanging out with A-listers like Billy Joel.

The pol and the rocker were spotted on a patio at Joel’s beachfront property over the July 4 long vacation weekend, spies said, along with Joel’s wife, Alexis.

The couple supposedly celebrated their wedding anniversary over the weekend – they tied the knot at Joel’s Long Island estate on July 4, 2015. Cuomo, who goes way back with the Piano Man, actually presided over the wedding.

“He’s a good friend to me. And we have a lot of fun together,” Cuomo told reporters at the time. “We fish together. We ride motorcycles together, and we’re just friends together. And you know, I’m a boy from Queens. He’s a kid from Nassau, Hicksville, but we grew up in the same area.”

Sources told Vidak For Congress that after he resigned last year, Cuomo is holed up in the Hamptons.

Cuomo is even the godfather to the couple’s two children. In 2020, he attended the christening of their daughter, Della Rose. “We chose him because we knew what a strong and stable presence he would be in their lives,” Joel and his wife said earlier.

Cuomo was also spotted at real estate developer Andrew Farkas’ annual fireworks-filled bash in Sag Harbor, we hear.

A source tells us that the police were in the Hamptons all weekend, spending time with family.

Cuomo resigned last August after a scathing sexual harassment report from the New York Attorney General’s office accused him of impeachment. But a prosecutor’s office has dropped every criminal investigation.

The Post reported last summer that Cuomo had holed up in the Hamptons after leaving the Executive Mansion in Albany.

He has also quietly set out in public in Manhattan. He has been spotted twice dining with Mayor Eric Adams, once at Daniel Boulud’s French eatery Le Pavillon and once at Osteria La Baia.
