Hannah Ferrier had a “strange” encounter with “Below Deck” star Rachel Hargrove just months before the chef called “Southern Charm” cast member Austen Kroll a “narcissist.”
“I actually had my own experience with her on social media, which I found very odd,” the 35-year-old “Below Deck Mediterranean” star tells Vidak For Congress.
In April 2021, Australia’s Bravolebrity, which did “market research,” asked her Twitter followers“Do Americans Know What Mangroves Are?”
The chef, who seemed to have a problem with the question, responded to her tweet“I also grew up with them all my life … I’m curious about” [sic] why is she asking all these questions about Americans?”
Following the response from fans, Hargrove, 40, clarified in another tweet that her response wasn’t a “jab” to Ferrier, 35, and that she’s “just bad at Twitter.”
Speaking of the interaction, Ferrier said the day after her tweet, which she called “uncontroversial,” had “a million responses.”
She continued: ‘It’s not stupid. It’s just that we come from different countries. So I thought that was really strange because especially in this day and age it’s a bit of an exaggeration to insinuate that I’m taking an entire country where all my supporters come from and calling them stupid on the internet.”
Last month, Hargrove made headlines when she… beat Kroll as the “most narsasitic” [sic] t–t on @BravoTV.”
In an alleged text message to a Bravo representative, she wrote, “He was in Tampa and Fort Lauderdale where I live…we met…but what was actually good was that I met his brew team.”
“We were all haning [hanging] from. He didn’t like that I wasn’t partying and not doing his whole thing… being an idiot.”
The Bravolebrity also posted a screenshot of what appeared to be Kroll asking her “[what the f–k]’ after sharing with her the tweets she’d written about him.
Ferrier has since moved on with her mangrove project and currently serves as an ambassador for Jenny Craig after using the Max Up program to lose weight after welcoming daughter Ava Grace in October 2020.
“I’ve never been this heavy and I’ve never had to lose that much weight, so I feel like I have to bring in the pros because it’s not my forte,” she tells us. “I had to rely on someone else that it was their expertise, and that’s where Jenny Craig came in.”
