Gigi Hadid celebrated her daughter Khai’s second birthday amid her blossoming romance with Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 27-year-old model posted a zoomed-in photo via Instagram Stories on Monday of a three-layer cake covered with ‘Peppa Pig’ characters.
“Our angel girl turned 2 today,” she captioned the social media upload.
Hadid tagged the bakery of Buddy Valastro and her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, Khai’s father.
The birthday party comes almost two weeks after the Guest in Residence founder was rumored to be DiCaprio, 47, following his split from Camila Morrone.
The new couple are “taking it easy,” a source told Vidak For Congress last week, adding that Hadid and the actor are “usually [been] hanging out with groups and a few times solo.”
Hadid previously dated Malik. The on-again, off-again couple started dating in 2015, and welcomed their daughter five years later.
The former couple called together in September 2021 on their daughter’s 1st birthday.
However, the following month, news broke of their split amid allegations that the former One Direction singer, 29, had allegedly had a violent altercation with Hadid’s mother, Yolanda Hadid.
“They’re not together now,” a family friend told Vidak For Congress in October 2021. However, they are both good parents.
“They are co-parent,” the insider added at the time. “Yolanda is obviously very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”
Malik was charged with four offenses of harassment that same month, against which he pleaded no contest, despite “firmly” denying the beating of Yolanda, 58, in a statement.
The “Pillowtalk” singer was given 90 days of probation for each violation (360 days in total) and was instructed to complete an anger management course and a domestic violence program.
In June of the following year, Gigi wished her ex a happy Father’s Day and posted a photo of Malik playing with their toddler.
