Don’t worry sweetie – the “Miss Flo” drama isn’t over yet.
Amid the rumored feud of Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh, both stars’ stylists jumped into the fray to defend their respective clients (and send some subtle shade).
Rebecca Corbin-Murray, who dresses 26-year-old Pugh, shared Instagram snaps of the actress’s stunning Valentino Haute Couture look for Monday’s premiere of “Don’t Worry Darling” at the Venice Film Festival, along with a meaningful caption.
“Miss Flo,” the stylist wrote — referring to the nickname Wilde, 38, gave Pugh in a leaked video of the film director begging original “DWD” star Shia LaBeouf to stay on her project.
“I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo, and I want to know if you’re open to giving this a shot with me, with us,” Wilde told the Holes actor in the clip. , despite previously claiming to have fired him from the film.
Corbin-Murray’s followers loved her graves in Wilde.
“Caption is so incredibly beautiful,” remarked makeup artist Jenna Kristina. Actress Billie Piper weighed in too, calling Pugh’s off-the-shoulder shimmering dress “insane” and adding, “Lol for caption.” Other commenters wrote: “the shadow,” “not the caption,” and “MISS FLO OMG.”
Meanwhile, Wilde’s stylist, Karla Welch, also waded into the drama. Over the weekend she posted an Instagram story promising: “There’s always more to the story…”
After Wilde said she fired LaBeouf for his “belligerent energy” and replaced him with her now-beau, Harry Styles, the “Even Stevens” alum said he’d basically left the film alone.
“You and I both know the reasons for my departure,” LaBeouf wrote in emails he claimed to have sent Wilde, and later forwarded to Variety. “I stopped your film because your actors and I couldn’t find time to rehearse.”
Pugh skipped the photo call and press conference on “Don’t worry,” and Wilde addressed her absence (but declined to talk about her argument with LaBeouf).
“Florence is a force, we are so thankful she can make it tonight despite being in production,” the Booksmart director told reporters. “As for all the endless gossip and noise in the tabloids, the internet feeds itself. I don’t feel like I have to contribute to that.”
Pugh did indeed show up for the evening’s premiere, though she didn’t pose with Wilde on the red carpet.
