Erika Jayne has responded to claims that her estranged husband, Tom Girardi, had given mistress Tricia A. Bigelow $300,000 in misused funds for a beach apartment amid their alleged affair.
“Wow. I knew about jewelry, shopping and plastic surgery, but this really confused me,” Jayne, 51, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday.
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s post was accompanied by a screenshot of the new Los Angeles Times article reporting on the bomb claim.
According to court documents obtained by the point of sale, Girardi, 83, used settlement funds intended for his Girardi Keese clients in the 2015 wire transfer that helped Bigelow buy oceanfront real estate in Santa Monica, California.
The publication explained that the account Girardi used allegedly held money owed to cancer victims and other residents of a polluted Inland Empire community.
Bigelow’s attorney Alan Jackson told the LA Times that the former judge was unaware that Girardi was allegedly using settlement money, stressing that the transfer “was NOT marked as coming from a [Girardi Keese] trust account.”
Bigelow’s lawyer went on to claim that Girardi “never shared anything with her about the source of gifts.”
The outlet also reported that Jayne was notified of the $300,000 gift in court earlier this month.
“Fk me,” she said, before her team told her not to use profane language. “No way. No way.”
The Bravolebrity previously accused Girardi of cheating in December 2020, a month after she filed for divorce from the disgraced attorney.
“This is Judge Tricia A. Bigelow. She was f–king my husband Tom Girardi and he paid her Saks bill and paid for her plastic surgery,” Jayne wrote on Instagram at the time.
On an episode of “RHOBH” in July 2021, Jayne claimed to her castmates that she had “proof” of Girardi’s “years” of infidelity.
“I knew a lot because it was so hard to hide and, you know, he was sloppy,” she said.
Earlier Wednesday, Vidak For Congress reported that Jayne had won a $5 million fraud lawsuit brought by Girardi’s former colleagues, attorneys Philip R. Sheldon and Robert P. Finn, in late 2020.
Jayne’s attorney Evan C. Borges exclusively told us on Tuesday that LA judge Richard Fruin found no evidence that the reality star participated in “any wrongdoing.”
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
