‘DWTS’ pro Cheryl Burke celebrates 4 years of sobriety

Cheryl Burke celebrated four years of sobriety last weekend.

The “Dancing With the Stars” pro, 38, shared a TikTok video set with Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy” on Sunday to share the news.

“I realized I had just been sober for four years,” she wrote on social media upload.

While Burke started the video wearing a jacket, Adidas hat and black sportswear, she ended by removing her outer layer and flipping her hair.

The choreographer’s followers sent her “insane respect” in the comments section.

“Congratulations! Sober you look great,” wrote one TikTok user, while another added: “Keep track, Cheryl!”

Burke got sober in the summer of 2018 when she decided to stop drinking at her and Matthew Lawrence’s engagement party.

“My dad passed away and my dad was an alcoholic,” she explained on the “LadyGang” podcast in September 2020. “So either I would crash and burn and go into rehab or I would just go cold turkey.

“That’s just my personality,” the ABC personality continued. “It’s black or white.”

Burke and the “Mrs. Doubtfire” actor, 42, has since retired, with the “Dance Moms” coach filing for divorce in February.

“There really isn’t an easy way to announce that my marriage is coming to an end,” she told her Instagram followers at the time. “Thank you for all the kind words and support you’ve given me – love you all.”

Through her podcast “Burke in the Game,” the dancer has kept her fans informed about her emotions after the split.

Last month, she told listeners she was feeling “lonely” and “wanted someone to flirt with.”

While Burke admitted in the July 5 episode that it wasn’t “easy” to meet new people, she added that she was “slowly but surely open to starting dating for good.”

Lawrence, for his part, was spotted with TLC singer Chilli in Hawaii last week, but his rep clarified that the duo are just friends.
