Dorinda Medley didn’t appreciate Jill Zarin insinuating she had a drinking problem.
The reality TV star revealed her thoughts on her co-star after a caller asked her on Thursday’s episode of “Make It Nice With Dorinda Medley” to discuss the Zarin’s recent comments.
“I think she’s very lecherous,” Medley, 57, said of Zarin, 58, whom she called an “acquaintance.”
“She’s been up for a long time and I think, you know, this is new to her and this is her moment.”
Zarin was one of the original cast members of “The Real Housewives of New York City” before leaving during Season 4 in 2011. As for Medley, she was on the show from season 7 to season 12.
“Even Brandi [Glanville] said on Watch What Happens Live [with Andy Cohen] The other day she was thirsty,” Medley reminded the caller. “Tamra [Judge] it said. She’s thirsty. So go for it. That’s what I say. Go for it.”
But when the caller said she had a problem with the “hurtful” things Zarin said, Medley told her, “Things are only painful in life if you care.
“My mother always says something: ‘consider the source’… So I think people should say what they want. Just because you say it doesn’t mean it’s true. And what about this? Who cares?”
Earlier this month, the Jill Zarin Home designer claimed she was “done” and “wouldn’t try again” with Medley until she “fixed” her drinking.
“I love her and I loved her. I kept trying to rekindle that friendship, but I’m done. I’m not going to try again,” Zarin said in Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap.”
In an episode of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club,” the two women bumped into each other after Medley called Zarin a “lap dog” and “thirsty.” The fight left Zarin in tears.
“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club” is available to stream on Peacock.
