Death Darius Campbell Danesh decided accident

The cause of death of beloved singer Darius Campbell Danesh was revealed after he was found dead in his Minnesota apartment last month.

The 41-year-old Scottish vocal sensation, who appeared on “Pop Idol,” died of “chloroethane inhalation,” the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Research Bureau confirmed.

The autopsy results listed “toxic effects of chloroethane” and “suffocation” leading to his sudden death, ITV reports.

The death was ruled by accident by the coroner.

Danesh first circled toward stardom thanks to his portrayal of the Britney Spears hit “…Baby One More Time” in 2001 as a cast member on the reality show “Popstars”.

Shortly after, he auditioned for “Pop Idol” – the predecessor to “American Idol” – becoming one of the final three contestants.

Danesh’s family revealed details of his ‘sudden’ death.

In their statement, Danesh’s loved ones said police found “no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances.”

He was “found unresponsive in bed in his apartment room,” according to his family.

The year after his reality TV fame, the singer signed a deal with Mercury Records and released two solo albums from 2002 to 2004 – “Dive in” and “Live Twice”.

Danesh’s debut single “Colourblind” topped the UK charts for two weeks in July 2002.

He later starred in many British Broadway West End productions, including as Billy Flynn in ‘Chicago’, Sky Masterson in ‘Guys and Dolls’ and Rhett Butler in ‘Gone With the Wind’.
