An unsuspecting hotel guest received a very sweet arrival gift – courtesy of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez.
The newlyweds, who said “I do” for the second time on Saturday at a lavish ceremony at Affleck’s Georgia estate, gave custom-made chocolate boxes to wedding guests staying at a nearby hotel.
However, some “J&B” themed candies slipped through the cracks and were offered to people not associated with the A-list couple.
“I’m staying at a hotel in Savannah this weekend and we have Ben and Jen choccy,” claimed one tourist in an anonymous entry on Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi.
A note accompanying the chocolates read: “Thank you so much for making our wedding weekend so special. Sweet dreams, J&B.”
Some of the flavors in the brown box, which was decorated with the couple’s initials, included raspberry hibiscus, Tahitian vanilla, and Vietnamese coffee.
Affleck and Lopez — who legally married in Las Vegas last month — welcomed A-list friends like Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel, along with talent agent Patrick Whitesell, Australian model Pia Miller and “Jay and Silent Bob” stars Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes, to their weekend party.
Damon, 51, was seen Friday in Georgia on a private jet with his wife, Luciana Barroso, while Affleck’s younger brother, Casey Affleck, and ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, showed no face at the three-day event despite receiving invitations.
Garner, 50, was all smiles when she skipped the wedding in favor of visiting Sam’s Club.
The “13 Going on 30” star was photographed at the wholesale store in South Charleston, W.Va., just before 4 p.m. Saturday, TMZ reported.
Garner was joined by her father and her businessman boyfriend, John Miller, while her children, Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, spent the weekend celebrating their father’s renewed romance with the “Maid in Manhattan” actress. .
