It’s mother vs estranged daughter-in-law.
Chanel Iman has a public feud with her estranged husband’s mother, Sterling Shepard, over her two daughters spending time with her new beautiful Davon Godchaux’s son.
Cheri Shepard took issue with an Instagram follower who noted, “Blended [family] I love it 😍”, she replied, “not yet, she is still married, get divorced!”
Another fan of Iman said to Cheri, “girl bye,” prompting the former Victoria’s Secret Angel to share a clapping emoji and a crying emoji in response.
The exchange ended with Cheri sharing a simple fact: “I’m their grandmother! I would know!”
The New York Giants’ broad-based trustee filed for divorce from Iman on June 7, 2021, with irreconcilable differences being the cause of the split. The documents, obtained by Vidak For Congress, stated that there was “no reasonable prospect of reconciliation”.
Sterling 29, requested joint custody of their two children, Cali Clay, 3, and Cassie Snow, 2. He also requested that his home be his daughters’ primary residence and even asked that Iman only “supervise parenting time” with their girls.
Iman, 31, became an Instagram official with Godchaux in April after attending Coachella together.
The pair has only gotten serious, recently taking a trip to Lake Como, Italy, where the 27-year-old New England Patriots defensive tackle sparked engagement rumors after remarking, “Rare! My love forever🙌🏾 Real one❤️ 💍😁” on Iman’s Instagram Photos.
Sterling has not publicly commented on his mother’s feud with his estranged wife.
