Cara Delevingne’s friends have become so concerned about her that they are “desperate” that she is going to rehab, TMZ reported Friday.
Sources told the outlet that the supermodel’s friends are concerned she may be struggling with a combination of mental health issues and substance abuse.
Delevingne representatives did not respond to Vidak For Congress’s multiple requests for comment.
Earlier this week, Margot Robbie, the friend and co-star of the “Suicide Squad” star, was seen leaving the model’s Los Angeles home.
Representatives for Robbie, 32, have not commented on why she appeared so upset, but the photos of the tearful actress sparked speculation that serious issues were afoot with Delevingne, 30.
An insider told TMZ on Friday that Robbie was visibly distraught with “good reason” over what she allegedly saw at her boyfriend’s house.
The outlet also claims that the “Barbie” star is one of the friends who “pleds” Delevingne to join a treatment program.
Delevingne has not confirmed whether she struggles with addiction and has only confessed that she was involved in drugs in the past. However, the ‘Paper Town’ star’s behavior in recent months has raised concerns.
In March, she was first acted “really drunk” at a party in New York, earning her a reputation as a party girl.
Most recently, she looked disheveled and exhibited erratic behavior at California’s Van Nuys Airport, not even showing up to a New York Fashion Week event she was expected to attend.
A close friend of Delevingne told The Sun last week that they are all “incredibly concerned”.
“There is talk of setting up some sort of intervention and making sure Cara gets the help she may need,” the insider said.
“She’s been burning the candle at both ends lately and it’s clearly taking its toll.”
