It’s Snow-far.
Brittany Snow announced her divorce from her husband, Tyler Stanaland, after two years of marriage.
“After some time and consideration, Tyler and I have made the difficult decision to part ways,” the 36-year-old “Pitch Perfect” actress wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday, accompanied by a black and white photo of the couple.
“This decision was made with love and mutual respect for each other. We’ve realized that we need some time to make sure we’re all living our most fulfilling and authentic lives,” she continued.
“We started this journey as best friends and our relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us, but also for our dog Charlie.”
Snow signed his signature saying, “We sincerely appreciate your support and ask for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”
Shortly after, Stanaland posted an almost identical post on his own Instagram page next to the same photo.
The split coincides with Stanaland’s starring role in the glossy docu-soap “Selling the OC” – Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” spin-off that follows the dramatic lives of Oppenheim Group brokers living in or around Newport Beach, California.
“Anyone who knows Tyler and Brittany knows she was uncomfortable with the show,” a source told Vidak For Congress exclusively. “That’s why he tried his best to keep his marriage and the show separate, but it only failed.”
A second insider reiterated: “The show basically destroyed their marriage. Brittany wasn’t happy with what she saw.”
Representatives for Snow and Stanaland did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
During an August interview on the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast, the 33-year-old professional surfer turned real estate professional explained why he wanted to keep Snow from the show.
“In this particular season, you won’t see my house, you won’t see my wife,” he said, adding that he wanted to keep “certain parts” of his life “private” when he entered the unscripted space.
“And as time goes on, maybe that will change,” he explained. “But for now that was the only thing that made me feel safe to embark on such a strange journey.”
Notably, Stanaland — who married Snow in a Malibu ceremony in March 2020 — has proven to be a hot item among the women of “Selling the OC.”
Fellow cop Kayla Cardona admitted to trying to kiss him off-camera, while fellow castmates Alex Hall and Polly Brindle shamelessly flirted with him during filming.
Hall, 33, for her part, has no regrets about such interactions with Stanaland.
“I don’t really regret it because I would do it again,” she told Vidak For Congress earlier this month.
Referring to a scene in the Netflix series where she and Stanaland cuddle in a group on the beach, Hall added: “I don’t regret that. And everything I did – that I did on the show that people see – I do not regret it.”
Hall noted, however, that there have been “apologies that have taken place” since production wrapped.
Season 1 of “Selling the OC” is available to stream on Netflix.
