The controversial Florida apartment that Britney Spears’ sister, Jamie Lynn, claimed to own while the singer was still under her care has gone on sale for $2 million, The Post has learned.
Britney Spears, 40, is the actual owner. If she even comes close to the asking price, she walks away with a good profit. She bought the home in 2001 for $920,000, according to Realtor.com.
The apartment became a point of contention when a 2015 tweet from Jamie Lynn surfaced, in which she claimed her favorite vacation spot was the apartment in Destin, located on the Florida Panhandle, adding that she co-owned the unit.
During the ‘Free Britney’ movement in 2021, while the pop princess was still locked up in her conservatory, Jamie Lynn claimed she had received no financial support from her sister. But that tweet from 2015 proves otherwise.
The 3,600-square-foot trail consists of three bedrooms and three bathrooms and is listed under Bridgemore Timber LLC, which is solely tied to Britney.
The beach-like retreat occupies half of the 10th floor and offers panoramic views of the Gulf.
While the house could use an update, the property features a large balcony, 3-foot ceilings, marble floors, a mirrored wall with a fireplace, and glass walls that open out to the expansive – and turquoise – Gulf view.
There is also a dining room with a fireplace and an eat-in kitchen. The primary bedroom has a desk corner and floor-to-ceiling windows, according to the listing. A private bathroom includes a bathtub and separate shower.
Building amenities include a gym, swimming pools and games room.

During her marriage to Sam Asghari at her Thousand Oaks estate that she bought in 2015 for $7.4 million, she paid $11.8 million for a sprawling spread in Calabasas.
Her new West Coast home, located on 1.6 acres, spans 11,650 square feet and consists of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
Amenities include a 10-seat home theater, game room, gift wrapping area, wet bar and office with coffered ceiling.
And her neighbors are Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker — and her ex, Kevin Federline.
