She’s a whole woman.
After the iconic role of Foxxy Cleopatra in the 2002 hit film Austin Powers In Goldmember, Beyoncé wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.
The 28-time Grammy Award winner was just 19 years old when she landed the role of FBI agent.
Despite her young age, Queen Bey had no problem telling bosses she didn’t like the movie poster because she looked “too skinny.”
Kate Biscoe, the film’s makeup artist, told Vulture on the 20th anniversary of the film’s release that the poster was being returned for editing after the singer asked them to show more of her curves.
“While we were filming, someone brought her a poster that would promote the film,” Biscoe told the outlet.
“He showed it to her, like, ‘Do you like it?’ And she was like, ‘Yeah.’ He says, “What’s going on?” And she says, ‘You made me too skinny. It’s not me. Then she did this hourglass shape. And he said, ‘Okay, we’ll work that out.’”
Biscoe continued: “(Beyoncé) walked out to do the scene, and I looked at him and smiled, like, ‘Is that the first time you’ve ever asked an actress to make her body bigger?’
“He was like, ‘Yeah. It’s going to cost me thousands of dollars, but I’m going to do it.’”
Beyoncé’s appearance in the “Austin Powers” franchise marked her second major acting project after starring in “Carmen: A Hip Hopera” in 2001.
