When Hannah Ferrie, the star of “Below Deck Mediterranean” gave birth to her daughter in October 2020, fans believed that a “Southern Charm” cast member donated his sperm to help her conceive — instead of having her the old-fashioned way. would become pregnant.
However, they had no idea that she had been in a relationship with her now-husband, Josh Roberts, since 2018.
Speaking exclusively to Vidak For Congress, she said of the fan conspiracies: “It got to the point where I was pregnant and engaged, and then there was a huge Reddit thread about how I got a sperm donor, and I totally made it. [my fiancé] and it was someone from Southern Charm or something that let me donate sperm so I could have a baby. It was so weird.”
Ferrier and Roberts met in 2018 shortly after she finished filming season 4 of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’. The couple welcomed their daughter, Ava Grace, in October 2020 and got engaged a month later.
However, it wouldn’t be until January 2021 that she would announce on Instagram that she is both fiancé and mother. The couple tied the knot in Australia in March 2022.
The 35-year-old Jenny Craig ambassador went on to explain that Robert’s absence from her social media seemed more important than her pregnancy and engagement.
After seeing the fans’ reactions, she encouraged him to let her post a photo to prevent the drama from “gaining momentum” and getting ahead of the paparazzi.
“Funniest thing was I think I posted a photo and then literally that weekend the paparazzi got us to Sydney anyway,” she told us.
“I know a few people who said, ‘Oh my gosh, I hope your wedding is taped,'” Ferrier continued. “I’m like, ‘You haven’t met my husband.’ Hell would freeze before he let that happen.”
The Bravolebrity has since teamed up with Jenny Craig to help her regain her pre-pregnancy body.
“I really want to try and help and support other women on their journey because most importantly, you know, as you get older — like I’m only 35 — but your metabolism slows down, it gets harder,” she tells us. “I thought Jenny Craig was such a good solution to the problem.”
