Jed Wyatt of “Bachelorette” fame is engaged to Ellen Decker, sharing snaps of the romantic proposal on social media Sunday.
“Ellen, you are the greatest joy of my life,” Wyatt, 28, began the lengthy Instagram dedication to his wife-to-be. “Spending so much time with you taught me so much. Above all, our ability to work through difficult situations was very impressive. We never turn around and run at each other, we face life and figure it out.”
The winner of season 15 of “Bachelorette” continued: “We had people who doubted us and we laughed. We had days when we drove each other crazy and we always came back to solve it. We are rooted in a love that is deeper than anything I could ever have prayed for.”
The podcaster “Jed Talks” went on to reveal that he had proposed on Friday, July 15 and knew he would be asking for Decker’s hand for “a few months” before asking the question.
“Ellen is the coolest, nicest, funny, down to earth, hardest working, healthiest eating, routine job, long walk, fresh air I’ve ever met,” he continued gushing. “The facts are this. I don’t remember what I said down there on one knee, but as the tears flowed, Ellen Decker said yes to me.”
The country singer announced his relationship with Decker, 26, in November 2019.
“I’m delighted to be able to spend this life with you,” he continued. “I get to love you, protect you, support you and buy you endless amounts of sprinkles. Waking up next to that ring in your hand these past few days has been one of the happiest feelings I’ve felt in my life. You deserve it all, Ellen Without further ado, how perfect is my fiancé.”
