Anne Heche shared in 2017 how she would like to be remembered

Anne Heche shared in a 2017 interview how she wanted to be remembered prior to her fiery car accident.

The mother of two told “Access Hollywood” at the premiere of her movie “The Last Word” that she hoped to leave a positive impact on her sons.

“Since the movie is called ‘The Last Word’ and given what it’s about, what do you hope people would say about you in terms of the last words?” a producer asked Heche.

“Oh…Oh lord oh lord…,” she said, making a prayerful gesture. “Hopefully I’ve made my kids happy…give them a life they love.”

The actress shares 20-year-old son Homer Laffoon with ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon. The couple was married from 2001 to 2009.

Heche also shares 13-year-old son Atlas Heche Tupper with her “Men in Trees” co-star, James Tupper.

The 53-year-old star was involved in a serious wreck on August 5, which left her in a coma with burns so bad that surgery was required.

On Thursday evening, Heche’s representative told Vidak For Congress that she was “not expected to survive”.

She had suffered “severe anoxic brain injury” as a result of the wreckage and remained “in a coma” at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center in California.

“It’s long been her choice to donate her organs,” her spokesperson said in part, explaining that she was “held on life support to determine if any are viable.”

The ‘Disappeared’ star ‘went unconscious and slipped into a coma’ after her blue Mini Cooper crashed into a Los Angeles home last Friday.

In addition to severe burns, Heche’s spokesperson told us that the accident caused the actress “to sustain a significant lung injury requiring mechanical ventilation.”

After receiving a warrant to test her blood, Los Angeles police were reportedly able to determine that Heche was under the influence of cocaine at the time of the crash.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ Thursday afternoon that Heche’s blood test results were also positive for fentanyl. However, it should be noted that the drug could have been administered in the hospital to manage the pain of the accident.

After Heche’s hospitalization, her representative thanked fans “for their kind wishes and prayers”, as well as “the dedicated staff and wonderful nurses” who looked after her.

“She will be remembered for her brave honesty and sorely missed for her light.”
