Andy Cohen accidentally called former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Taylor Armstrong by the name of her current nemesis, “Brandi [Glanville]” during “”Watch What Happens Live.”
Cohen, 54, didn’t even realize the mistake until the former ‘housewife’, 51, told the host in Tuesday’s episode“you just called me Brandi” as she laughed and put her hand on her head incredulously.
Bravo’s director smiled nervously after being called and made it clear it was a harmless mistake.
“I think it was the drinking word tonight,” Cohen explained. “I’m sorry. I want to thank you Taylor†
An audience member yelled, “Andy what’s wrong with you?” while fellow guest Ryan O’Connell quipped, “Did Brandi tweet about that?”
Armstrong’s representative did not immediately respond to Vidak For Congress’s request for comment on the incident.
Armstrong and Brandi Glanville first appeared together in “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2011, but their feud really ignited when they were reunited in “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Ex-Wives Club”.
The two Bravolebrities got into an argument over dinner on the show over whether Armstrong was successful before Glanville joined the cast in Season 2. This prompted Glanville to come back to Armstrong with a seriously low hit.
“Did you graduate? Because your husband…” Glanville began to say before the audio stopped.
“I don’t think that’s successful,” added the “Drinking and Twittering” author.
The former model referred to Armstrong’s late husband Russell, who died by suicide in August 2011, two months after Armstrong filed for divorce.
Armstrong, along with their other “Girls Trip” co-stars, were stunned by Glanville’s comment, saying she went way too far.
“Brandi just went way too low,” Vicki Gunvalson said, while Tamra Judge opined, “Now she’s just throwing st.”
Dorinda Medley – who is herself a widow – said that, “She arms against death.”
However, Glanville is known for his swipe, and cast member Phaedra Parks wasn’t surprised by the hard attack.
“Anyone who throws a rock at Brandi should expect five bullets to come back,” the 48-year-old “Real Housewives of Atlanta” said in her confessional.
The author of “Hiding from Reality” and Russell welcomed a daughter, Kennedy, in 2006. Their failing marriage and accusations of abuse against Russell were set in the early seasons of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
“The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club” is available to stream on Peacock.
