Andie MacDowell rocks gray hair on the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week

Silver fox, indeed.

Andie MacDowell showed off her stuff on the runway at L’Oréal Paris Fashion Week 2022 on Sunday, wearing a gorgeous dress and showing off her naturally curly hair.

The ‘Maid’ actress donned a champagne beaded dress with a high split and feathers to show off a small leg and her gorgeous hair for her second appearance in the beauty brand’s fashion show.

The star has spoken out many times about her decision to go gracefully gray after she stopped painting during the Covid-19 lockdown and literally returned to her roots.

“During COVID, I could see the roots with my face and with my skin and my eyes, and I liked it. I felt I would be happier. And I’m happier. I really like it,” MacDowell said earlier this year.

“I’m 64 and this is the time of my life. Eventually I will become silver. And I wanted to have this experience to feel what it is.”

The “Ready Or Not” actress also discussed aging, saying, “Your belly also gets bigger as you get older. And I’ve had three babies. I have to constantly work on loving that part of my body. It’s like that.” difficult.”

Her actress daughters Margaret, 27, and Rainey Qualley, 32, are always supportive. “If I ever say something demeaning about myself because I’ve taught them not to, they’ll say, ‘Why are you doing what you told us not to do?'” admitted the mother of three.

In recent years, however, she has been working on self-confidence by rethinking the way she looks at her changing appearance.

“When I first did it, I went to the grocery store because we didn’t have a place to go and I thought I looked good, and I saw a man there… A man who sees you and goes,” He’s a silver fox,” she told Drew Barrymore on her talk show appearance.

“I immediately shook my shoulders and I thought, ‘So am I.'”

But not everyone accepts that. Andie faced pushback from her managers who told her: ‘It’s not time’ [to go gray].”

“And I said, ‘I think you’re wrong, and I’ll be more powerful if I embrace where I am now,'” she stated.

She was indeed right.
