Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser finalized their divorce just weeks after the split.
Court records seen by Vidak For Congress show that a judge signed the divorce warrant on August 26. The case is now settled.
A Kartheiser representative confirmed to Vidak For Congress earlier this month that the “Angel” alum filed for divorce on August 10 after eight years of marriage.
Bledel, 40, and Kartheiser, 43, met on the set of “Mad Men”. However, they waited for filming to end before entering into a romantic relationship in 2012.
A famous private couple, the “Gilmore Girls” alum and Kartheiser surprisingly confirmed their engagement in March 2013, but in a really quiet way they secretly tied the knot in June 2014.
“It’s something I realized about the most important things in my life. If I share them with the world and I open that door for their raging rage they need to get out or their adoration they want to show off, that lessens,” the “In Time” actor told Vulture in April 2014 about keeping their romance out of the limelight.
“It makes it cheaper. It weakens it. And it’s magical, love, and all that is … deeply spiritual, and it just doesn’t feel right.”
The “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” star and Kartheiser quietly welcomed their first child in the fall of 2015, but her former co-star Scott Patterson accidentally broke the news of the bundle of joy.
“She’s really blossomed as a woman, and now she’s a proud new mom, married and happy,” Patterson, 63, told Glamor in May 2016.
“We’re comparing notes because my son… [Nick, born July 2014] is about a year and a half older than her young son. I show her pictures and videos and what to expect. We just really enjoy each other’s company.”
