Party-loving Mayor Eric Adams — who this week said the city’s shelters are almost a “breaking point” when dealing with incoming migrants — was spotted Thursday night at the highly exclusive, members-only jazz club in newly opened Aman NY.
We assume that he found few or no migrants there.
“He was sitting in the middle of the room with a group of people,” says one spy, noting that the founding members spent $100,000 to join the club.
We were told that one of these people was his controversial friend, convicted money launderer Zhan “Johnny” Petrosyants.
“I don’t think there’s any migrant issue tonight if he’s in the fanciest new club,” the spy snorted. “He’s been here all night.”
Let’s not jump to conclusions. Maybe he’s looking to see if the place will treat some of the newcomers to the city one of their $3,200-a-night rooms.
We were also told that in the gilded room was the French billionaire and founder of the luxury Kering group, Francois Pinault. Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez were spotted at the posh hotel the next day.
Adams was featured at the Crown Building hotspot opening in August. Vidak For Congress previously reported that founding members donated $100,000 to be part of the exclusive Aman Club. Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, the Kardashians, Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, George and Amal Clooney and Tom Hanks are all fans of the hotel brand.
Looks like nothing can stop Adams from having a bash. A source pointed to a New Yorker article stating that on 9/11, he spent the day mourning the dead with Vice President Kamala Harris and former Mayor Michael Bloomberg, then headed to La Baia for what appeared to be his birthday party. the Petrosyants twins.
Adams was also spotted front row at a Michael Kors fashion show this week. And spoke to Kanye West at Cathédrale.
Last week, a source told us he hopped to several bashes to celebrate turning 62. And he hosted a New York Fashion Week bash at Gracie Mansion with Anna Wintour and some top designers.
