Luis “Louie” Ruelas closed a report claiming that his newlywed wife Teresa Giudice had asked Joe and Melissa Gorga for money for dropping their wedding on Saturday.
“We wouldn’t be asking for money from Joe and Melissa in a million years – we’re not petty. Joe and Melissa were missed,” Ruelas, 48, commented on an Instagram post, adding a heart emoji.
The original story, published Monday by Radar Online, claimed that the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star billed her brother and sister-in-law for the expensive meal they skipped at the Chateau Estate in East Brunswick, NJ.
Giudice’s “RHONJ” co-star and bridesmaid Jennifer Aydin also denied the report.
“This is absolutely not true! If there was such an ‘account’, it had already been placed. Trust and believe,” Aydin, 45, tweeted on Monday.
The mother of five added in another tweet that it was “wackadoo fake news” and that “Teresa and Louie would NEVER be so petty.”
Neither Giudice, 50, nor the Gorgas have commented on the alleged bill.
Vidak For Congress announced on Friday that the Gorgas had refused to attend the 11 a.m. wedding.
“A very exciting ‘Housewives’ finale was filmed earlier this week,” an insider told us.
A second source claimed the fight in the Season 13 finale took place after Giudice allegedly repeated a rumor intended to “cause drama” in the Gorga’s marriage.
Joe, 42, and Melissa, 43, were the only “RHONJ” cast members not attending and instead spent the weekend on the Jersey Shore. They were photographed returning home on Sunday.
Giudice didn’t seem to let the family drama affect her too much, as she still celebrated her special day with her “chosen family.”
The cookbook author walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder dress by Mark Zunino featuring a mermaid silhouette, a crystal tiara and an embroidered veil with the Italian phrase “Semper Insieme” (meaning “Always Together”) .
Giudice completed her over-the-top look with a faded updo that required over 1,500 bobby pins. The total haircut cost nearly $10,000-$7,000 for real human hair extensions and $2,500 for the styling.
Giudice’s four daughters, Gia, 21, Gabriella, 17, Milania, 16, and Audriana, 12, who she shares with ex-husband Joe Giudice, served as bridesmaids in pale pink satin dresses.
