David Burtka is thankful to be married to Neil Patrick Harris.
“I can’t imagine getting thrown into that pool of dating again, it’s mean,” he confessed to Vidak For Congress at the premiere of the Netflix series “Uncoupled” earlier this week.
Burtka, who married Harris in 2014, said both he and the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star “missed the entire Grindr app, the conference call. I wouldn’t know how to do it. We would have no idea.
“I wouldn’t want to expose myself there, it’s mean. Knowing about younger friends of mine, I wouldn’t want to be… very satisfied, very happy in my relationship with my husband.’
47-year-old “Life Is a Party” cookbook author confessed that watching “Uncoupled” in which Harris’s character Michael Lawson navigates the world of online dating after being separated from his friend.
Burtka and Harris, 49, share fraternal twins 11-year-old, daughter, Harper, and son, Gideon, and Burtka — who also has a small part in “Uncoupled” — says they’re “amazing,” though they’ve been dealing with pre-teen behavior.
“It’s the hormones, we get it,” he said. “Pre-teen is a roller coaster, you go from floating and being a cute little kid to ‘away from me, I can do this myself’ or ‘I’m old enough to see that!’ It’s a roller coaster.”
