Bey is back and she sleeps very well at night.
Beyoncé finally revealed the track listing for her upcoming album “Renaissance” on Wednesday, just over a week before its release.
The singer’s seventh studio album, due out on July 29, features 16 songs, with the newly released club stunner “Break My Soul” as the sixth track on the list.
The album begins with ‘I’m That Girl’ and continues with ‘Cozy’, ‘Alien Superstar’, ‘Cuff It’ and ‘Energy’.
As mentioned, “Break My Soul” comes sixth on the track list and will transition into “Church Girl” and “Plastic Off The Sofa”.
Beyoncé’s record then comes in “Virgo’s Groove” – the longest track on the album running at 6 minutes and 8 seconds.
Die-hard Queen Bey knows she’s a Virgo herself, born on September 4.
The song spills over into the following tracks on the record, including “Move,” “Heated,” “Thique” and “All Up In Your Mind.”
She is then expected to deliver a political song entitled “America Has A Problem.”
The last two tracks of the album are ‘Pure/Honey’ and ‘Summer Renaissance’.
The news of her upcoming album was shared in a tweet earlier this month by music streaming platform Tidal, which helped put Queen Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, on the map in 2015.
The 28-time Grammy winner teased in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar last year that new music was on the way, saying, “I feel a renaissance coming on,” which was clearly a clue to the album’s title.
“With all the isolation and injustice of the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love and laugh again,” she told the magazine at the time.
“I feel a renaissance coming on and I want to be a part of nurturing that escape in every way possible.”
