Jill Duggar’s sisters didn’t post photos at her baby shower — and now Jessa Duggar is “angry” on social media trolls for assuming she wasn’t attending.
Amy Duggar, the niece of the pregnant 31-year-old reality star, shared party photos on Instagram on Thursday, sharing how “an honor” it was to host the bash.
Jessa, 29, commented, “It was so much fun celebrating this new life,” and Amy, 35, replied, “It was great seeing you!”
When a hater commented that Amy’s social media upload made it seem like Jessa and her sisters missed Jill’s event, Jessa clapped back.
“Please don’t assume there is a negative motive behind everything we do and don’t do,” wrote the Counting On alumnus.
“These rumors make me angry and I’m here to put an end to it,” she continued. “The story that these kinds of comments put forward is false. Just not true.”
The ex-reality star explained that “pretty much everyone was out of town, be it for a wedding, family reunion, or beach trip” during Jill’s festivities.
“Summer is busy and you can’t always coordinate 19+ schedules. Anyone with more than one adult child should know that,” Jessa wrote. “My mom [Michelle Duggar] and all of us sisters + SIL love her very much and she knows it!
Jessa explained that she and Jill “spend a lot of time together, even if there are no pictures circulating on the internet to prove it.”
The former TLC personality capped off by asking her followers to “stop spreading hate” and “stop this bullshit” as Jill “has family support” throughout her pregnancy.
Amy chimed in, “We had a great turnout and enjoyed just being in the moment. There was no drama and Jill was beaming!”
Jill celebrated her baby shower last month, five months after announcing that baby No. 3 is on its way.
She and husband Derick Dillard are already the parents of sons Israel (7) and Samuel (5).
Jessa, for her part, shares Spurgeon, 6, Henry, 5, Ivy, 3, and Fern, 11 months, with her husband, Ben Seewald.
