BenQ has unveiled its RGB laser ultra short throw TV projector, the V5000i. For a picture that is rich in detail and also supports HDR10+ and HLG, the new model is equipped with the BenQ HDR-PRO tool, which also includes HDR Tone Mapping and Local Contrast Enhancer.
The laser light source of the projector can provide as much as 2,500 ANSI lumens of brightness, and it can cover 95% of the BT.2020 color gamut and 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. In addition to these features, the device possesses MEMC motion smoothing, a dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1, and a throw ratio of 0.232:1.

You may stream video from well-known services such as Netflix, Disney+, and Hulu if you have an Android TV that has been certified. The extremely short throw device has a reduced input latency, which makes it appropriate for gaming.
Additionally, it supports resolutions of 4K at 120 Hz. You may connect additional speakers or other devices to the built-in 40W Trevolo sound system via the HDMI eARC, USB-A, or S/PDIF connections. The sound system is compatible with both Dolby and DTS technologies. Additionally, it is possible to connect devices wirelessly via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.
The super short throw V5000i, which will be available in the United States as of July of this year, may be combined with a 100-inch (254 cm) ALR Fresnel screen, and the total price of the bundle is $3,499. BenQ has not yet disclosed whether or if the projector would also be sold in Europe; nevertheless, there have been rumors that it may become available later this year.
BenQ has also just recently stated that it would be releasing the HT4550i, HT3560, and TK860i models in the United States at the end of May.
