Amal Clooney takes a walk on the wild side.
The human rights lawyer and her Oscar-winning husband, George Clooney, stepped out in NYC on Tuesday to celebrate their eight-year wedding anniversary, with Amal dressed in a bold animal-print ensemble for the occasion.
The Lebanese-British lawyer, 44, paired her pleated zebra-striped miniskirt with a matching clutch and wore a classic black turtleneck sweater.
Going funky with her shoes, she opted for black mesh Balmain sandals ($1,595) with Velcro straps.
The 61-year-old ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ actor looked equally elegant in a neat dark suit and held her hand as they crossed the street – helpful, given Amal’s towering stilettos.
Thankfully, the silver fox — known for his casual duds as his wife regularly steps out in ripped-from-the-court designs — left his signature dad jeans at home this time.
The couple married in 2014 in an elaborate ceremony in Venice, with Amal walking down the aisle in a gorgeous off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta gown before changing into a flirty flap-style frock for the reception.
This summer, the lawyer has had some great looks, including a white lace mini dress she wore on Lake Como in July. She also wore a red floral dress to the Prince’s Trust Awards in May, and had a whirlwind trip to New York City the month before, showing off her sexier side in a sheer red dress and wearing jeans and an embellished top.
Congratulations to the Clooneys on eight years of marital bliss.
