Coco Austin hits back at criticism after washing her 6-year-old in the sink.
The actress defended her “unconventional” parenting decision in a tweet on Sunday.
“Wow just Wow! Here we go again!” the model wrote via Twitter over the weekend. “Giving my little girl a bath in the sink went viral? SMH!
“People, you should know by now that I’m an unconventional mother,” she continued. “I do what works and is easier for me. Some may want to take some tips instead of berating me!”
The 43-year-old’s tweet came four days after she posted a TikTok video showing the preparations for Chanel’s fashion show.
The little one played on her iPad while taking a bath in the kitchen in the September 21 footage, with Austin explaining, “The sink is easiest when you need to be quick.”
Many of the “Ice Loves Coco” alum’s followers on social media praised her ingenuity, while others found fault.
“I think she’s a little old for the sink,” wrote one TikTok user.
Another added: “She’s definitely old enough to wash herself.”
Austin shares her daughter with Ice-T, and the star of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” has yet to respond to the criticism.
However, when his wife was reprimanded in May for pushing Chanel in a stroller, the rapper stood up for Austin via Twitter.
“MFs have nothing else to talk about,” Ice-T wrote at the time. “SMH. LOL.”
Austin chimed in: “Oh lord!! Really people? The world loves to criticize literature [sic] everything I do!”
The couple came under fire from parenting police several times over the years, with trolls often bashing the length of Austin’s breastfeeding journey.
“[Chanel] wants to get close to her mother. That’s what they’re doing,” Ice-T told TMZ in September 2019 about Austin’s decision.
The actor noted that the little one also “eats f-king cheeseburgers,” adding, “They only make it when the baby is… breastfed.”
