Yvette “Yve” Arellano’s lawyer called the estranged husband of the “90 Day Fiancé” star, Mohamed Abdelhamed, the “Amber Heard of immigrants” as he discussed his “falsified” abuse claims.
Kathleen Martinez of Martinez Immigration shared a TikTok video on Tuesday in which she claimed that Mohamed had “faked his way to the United States” and was “coached” to “falsely accuse” [Arellano] of battery” so that he could get a U-visa.
Martinez’s comparison to Heard suggests she believes the “Aquaman” actress falsified her abuse claims during the high-profile divorce and defamation lawsuit of her and ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Depp won the legal battle from a Virginia court in June, receiving $15 million.
A U visa “is reserved for victims of certain crimes who have been mentally or physically abused and helpful to law enforcement officers or government officials in investigating or prosecuting criminal activity,” according to US Citizen and Immigration Services.
Arellano, 48, was charged with domestic violence and assault on August 15, but her publicist immediately denied the allegations of Abdelhamed, 28, claiming that the TLC personality had cheated on her. Abdelhamed eventually admitted to cheating in both the reality series and the police report obtained by Vidak For Congress.
Abdelhamed called Albuquerque, NM, police, claiming that he endured “emotional and physical abuse from Yvette” throughout the relationship, the documents said.
But Arellano later told the police officer that she was “afraid and concerned because she doesn’t know what he is capable of”.
After Arellano was charged, she hired a “dream team” of lawyers, including Martinez, to “help her put an end to these wild accusations and shed light on the truth.”
