Instagram model Sumner Stroh has accused Adam Levine of being unfaithful to his pregnant wife, Behati Prinsloo, with her.
The 23-year-old Texas resident shared screenshots of a conversation she reportedly had with the Maroon 5 frontman, 43, via Instagram in a TikTok video posted Monday that has since gone viral.
Levine was quick to deny Stroh’s allegations, but admitted he “crossed the line” by talking to her on social media.
Here’s everything you need to know about the social media influencer involved in the alleged affair.
What did Stroh and Levine’s alleged messages say?
In her explosive TikTok video, which has been viewed more than 15 million times, Stroh claimed she had been “manipulated” by the “Wake Up Call” crooner.
“Essentially I was having an affair with a man who is married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time I was young, naive and frankly, I feel exploited,” she began. “I wasn’t in ‘the scene’ like I am now, so I was definitely very easy to manipulate.”
Stroh continued: “Maroon 5 is practically elevator music right now, so I’m sure you know who Adam Levine is. But Adam and I saw each other for about a year. After I stopped talking to him for months, he came right back into my life.”
She then showed a screenshot of an Instagram DM that Levine allegedly sent her in June.
“Okay, serious question. I’m having another baby and if it w . is [sic] Boy, I really want to call it Sumner. Do you think that’s okay? DEAD seriously,” the message read, referring to the baby he is expecting with Prinsloo.
“I was like… I must be in hell right now,” Stroh continued. “My morale was unconsciously affected. I was completely manipulated.”
In another message, which appeared on a green screen behind her, the Grammy winner reportedly wrote, “It’s just unreal how f–king hot you are. Like it’s driving me crazy.”
Stroh then seemed to respond: “I mean, I think the same. When I saw you in person, I was like… I’m f–ked.”
An additional DM reportedly sent by the “She Will Be Loved” singer read: “You’re 50 times hotter personally. And so am I hahahah.”
Why did Stroh reveal the alleged affair?
The model said she wanted to “handle things privately” at first and “never come forward”.
However, she claimed that someone in her circle had tried to sell the screenshots to a tabloid.
“I know the implications of doing what I do – making money the way I do and being an Instagram model,” she said. “So being tied to a story like this…I know stereotypes.”
Stroh continued: “I had recklessly sent some screenshots to some friends I thought I trusted, and one of them had tried [the screenshots] to a tabloid, so here I am.”
When did the alleged affair take place?
Stroh claimed exclusively to Vidak For Congress that her involvement with Levine took place “last year” when she was “graduating from college.”
She then claimed that she and Levine dated for “about a year” and that he returned to her life months later when he inquired about naming his next child after her.
What does she do for work?
Stroh was born in Houston, Texas, according to her Facebook page, and attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied business administration and advertising from 2016 to 2020, according to her LinkedIn.
She now works as a marketing manager in addition to modeling and influencing on Instagram, where she has more than 370,000 followers.
She is represented by the Verge Agency, according to the company’s website, and also has a presence on YouTube, TikTok and OnlyFans.
Did Levine comment?
The Maroon 5 singer publicly responded to the claims on his Instagram Story on Tuesday.
“I used poor judgment to talk to anyone other than my wife in ANY flirty way,” he began his statement. “I have not had an affair, yet I have crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life.”
Levine said his interactions became “inappropriate” in certain cases.
“I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family,” he continued.
“My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. Being so naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that really matters to me was the biggest mistake I could ever make. I’ll never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and together we will get through it.”
Levine has been married to Prinsloo, 34, since July 2014.
The couple share daughters Dusty Rose, 5, and Gio Grace, 4, and last week confirmed their third baby is on the way.
