Fans think Pete Davidson’s “NDE” could be the perfect rebound situation for Gisele Bündchen.
Social media users wasted no time sending the two after Vidak For Congress broke the news Tuesday that the supermodel and her husband, Tom Brady, have retained divorce lawyers.
“I have no doubt Pete Davidson will now join Gisele,” one person tweeted.
“Keep Pete Davidson away from Gisele at all costs unless you want to see Tom Brady win three more Superbowls in a row out of sheer hatred,” someone else was joking about the notoriously competitive NFL player.
Things have been tough for Brady, 45, and Bündchen, 42, since Vidak For Congress reported the two engaged in an “epic battle” over the summer when the quarterback decided to withdraw from the NFL — a decision he apparently made. made without his wife’s permission.
Many Twitter users pointed out that Bündchen may be entering the dating pool at the perfect time now that Davidson, 28, is also single following his recent split from Kim Kardashian.
“Pete Davidson finds out about Brady and Gisele’s divorce rumors,” a user captioned a photo of the “Saturday Night Live” alum smiling at his phone.
Davidson, who has a long history of dating newly single women, was recently linked with Kardashian, 41, after she was declared legally single by Kanye West.
The couple called it quits after nine months — and plenty of tattoos on Davidson’s part — later.
However, another social media user brought up another potential match for the former “SNL” comedian, tweeting, “Tia Mowry and Gisele Bündchen are divorcing their husbands. Pete Davidson is in his season 😭.”
In another post, a person bets the odds on the unlikely pairing, tweeting, “Pete Davidson emerges as the next favorite (-105) to date Gisele.”
As previously reported, Brady and Bündchen have been living separately for the past few months and have started the divorce process.
“I never thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” a source told Vidak For Congress.
“I don’t think anything will come back now. They both have a lawyer and are looking at what a split entails, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
The couple – who have been married since 2009 – will likely share custody of son Benjamin (12), daughter Vivian (9) and also son Jack (15) from one of Brady’s previous relationships.
Since their big fight, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel has been keeping his distance from the NFL star. Last month, Bündchen spent some time in NYC before returning to Miami, while Brady stayed at their Tampa Bay home.
While some insiders claim it’s “sexist” to say the split was caused by Brady’s return to the “violent” sport, Bündchen didn’t shy away from expressing her frustrations at the athlete’s decision to keep playing.
“I wish he was more present,” the supermodel told Elle Magazine in her cover photo last month, adding that she’s “definitely had those conversations with him over and over.”
Representatives of the two did not respond to Vidak For Congress’s requests for comment.
