Popular YouTube group the Try Guys has fired member Ned Fulmer over allegations that he cheated on his wife, Ariel Fulmer.
The comedic foursome, who rose to fame while working at BuzzFeed, made the news in a statement on Tuesday.
“Ned Fulmer is no longer working with The Try Guys,” read a post shared by the group’s Instagram page.
“As a result of a thorough internal review, we see no way forward together. Thank you for your support in navigating this change,” concluded the statement from remaining members Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld and Eugene Lee Yang.
It is speculated that Ned, who often talked about how much he loved his wife, was cheating on Ariel with Try Guys producer Alex Herring.
The allegations came to light after screenshots and photos were posted posted in a Reddit thread last week, seemingly showing Ned with Herring at the bar Niagara in New York City.
“So basically I went to Niagara’s club last night and saw her kiss ned from the try guys, I have videos if needed,” an anonymous Reddit user sent a DM to Herring’s fiancé, Will Thayer.
“She was wearing a red dress idk if that helps,” the message continued.
In another DM, Thayer reportedly wrote back, “Okay, thanks,” followed by: “Just spoke to Ariel [Fulmer] for one hour.”
Ned and Ariel have two sons, Wesley, born in April 2018, and Finley, born in November 2020.
Fans of the eagle-eyed YouTube series also noticed that Ned had not appeared in the group’s three most recent videos, despite being featured in the promotional material for this season.
