Who needs a glamor squad?
Tom Sandoval, star of ‘Vanderpump Rules’, says he stepped in as a make-up artist for the men at Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding in August.
“We’re in Mexico, it’s sunny, and some of the guys got a little bit sunburnt, so I brought a lot of my Stryx,” said Sandoval, 39, promoting the Yelp Tableware Awards.
“I could give everyone a concealer pen and an anti-shine tool.”
Sandoval, who was one of Davies’ groomsmen, says some of the men in the party had never worn makeup before.
“I was able to even out the skin tone, take some of the shine off… I plugged Brock in,” he says.
“When it comes to weddings, the girls all get a full glam squad. But the guys, they’re at the altar and the girl looks gorgeous, [and] the boys [are] a little shiny, you know?’
The author of “Fancy AF Cocktails” adds that besides the glowing skin of a few people, Davies, 31, and Shay, 37, had pretty much everything under control on their big day.
“I was like, ‘Do you need anything? I can do anything. What do you want me to do? I want to help,'” he recalls. “And he says, ‘Tom, I’ve got everything. Just be here, man.’”
The nuptials will be on public display in season 10 of “Vanderpump Rules,” but Sandoval teases fans will see familiar faces from Villa Blanca alongside former stars Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and his ex Kristen Doute.
“It was super chill,” Sandoval recalls hanging out with the three former stars at the wedding. “We had a great time. Everyone had a great time, and it was just having fun. It was great.”
Shay and Davies were married on August 23 in an intimate ceremony at the Riviera Cancun resort.
Sandoval’s best friend and co-star Tom Schwartz was also a groomsman, while his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix served as a bridesmaid alongside Schwartz’s rumored romantic interest, Raquel Leviss.
The two are said to have been in touch at the wedding, but Shay said she only “heard” about the alleged rendezvous and “saw” nothing.
Sandoval also kept quiet on the subject while promoting the Yelp Dinnerware, the first-ever awards program that celebrates front-of-house restaurant workers.
“I’ve worked for the house for over 20 years and with an award that recognizes all the hard work of the reception staff, I’m thrilled they’re doing this,” he tells us.
