Sharna Burgess gave the first glimpse of her postpartum body a week after giving birth to her and Brian Austin Green’s son, Zane.
“Recovery is slow but steady,” the 37-year-old “Dancing With the Stars” video captioned a mirror video via Instagram Stories.
In the social media upload, Burgess stood at different angles to show off her belly while wearing a black sports bra, matching shorts and a vest.
“It’s been a great week,” she said on another slide. “It’s been nice. I am in newborn bliss.”
The choreographer noted that her infant son arrived via caesarean section and said the experience was “not traumatic” and the “safest and best option”.
Burgess welcomed her baby boy on June 28 and shared a black and white photo on Instagram as Green, 48, held the hand of their newborn.
“My heart is now forever outside my body,” the dancer wrote.
Green, who is also the father of Kassius, 20, with ex-fiancée Vanessa Marcil and Noah, 9, Bodhi, 8, and Journey, 5, with ex-wife Megan Fox, shared the same photo on his account, writing that Zane is a “ridiculously cute” baby.
“Like father, like son,” Burgess gushed.
The ABC personality waited a week to show their little one’s face with a sweet sleepy girl.
“I have no words yet that can do this justice,” she wrote via Instagram. “I know I look at him and see with tears in my eyes how open my heart is and how deeply and unconditionally I love him.”
Burgess continued, “I know I’ll never be the same, ever. I realize I never knew this kind of love or capacity existed and it’s beautifully overwhelming to process.”
She and the “BH90210” alum shared their pregnancy news in February, a year after they started dating.
While they waited for their baby to arrive, Burgess chose their son’s name. Green told E! News last week that the couple initially went back and forth on Zane and Walker.
“I finally came to the conclusion one day, ‘You know what? This is Sharna’s first child. I like Zane, it’s a great name.’ So I thought, ‘Let’s do Zane Walker Green,'” the actor explained. “I think she appreciated it. And it’s a really cool name.”
