2 young daughters were arrested in an armed robbery.
The San Francisco Police Department said that a second suspect in the armed robbery of a mother and her two young daughters has been arrested. On March 24 there was a robbery.
The 2300 block of Lake Street was the scene of an armed robbery with a gun. The officers met a female victim after arriving at the scene. She told police that a man with a firearm approached her and her two daughters as they exited her vehicle.
Several personal items were taken from her after the suspect pointed the gun at her. He got into a waiting vehicle that another suspect drove away from the scene. None of the victims were hurt as a result of the crime, police said.
Police said the phone was tracked to the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Jones Street. The officers from the Northern Station received the information. The suspects vehicle was located by officers and they initiated a traffic stop.
The suspect vehicle came to an abrupt stop after attempting to flee. Two people got out of the vehicle. The driver fled on foot. The passenger, a man from San Francisco, was taken into custody. A loaded gun was recovered.
Robinson was booked into the SF County Jail on a number of charges after he was positively identified as the suspect in the Lake Street robbery.
The second suspect in the robbery was identified as Milton Singletary, a 59-year-old from San Francisco. On April 14, while he was in jail for an unrelated incident, investigators served a search warrant and booked him.
Arrests have been made, but the investigation is still active.
