The royal family is “extremely nervous” about Prince Harry’s memoirs, a royal biographer says.
Tom Bower, who wrote “Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors,” tells Vidak For Congress in an exclusive new interview that the Duke of Sussex’s upcoming book is a “time bomb.”
We previously reported that Harry, 38, is desperate to rewrite the book in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II’s death last month. .
But Bower doesn’t think that can happen.
“I think everyone knows that the Sussexes can’t change the book in any way,” he says. ‘Can they make it any dirtier? Because otherwise we wouldn’t get any turnover.”
Harry’s memoir, originally slated for Penguin Random House release in November, has already been delayed until sometime next year.
Bower says that through chatter in London the book will be released around Easter and will include a chapter on the… [Queen’s] funeral.”
“And they’ll just be more material about how they got rejected and the rest of the insults against the royal family,” he adds. “So I think to that extent the delay will increase the venom.”
Many royal pundits have said that Charles, 73, is waiting to bestow the title of Prince and Princess to Harry and Markle’s children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, until the couple’s various media projects are released.
Harry and Markle, 41, have also been working on a Netflix documentary for over a year.
Vidak For Congress reported that the Duke and Duchess also wanted to reissue the series, which Netflix had hoped for in December after the fifth season of “The Crown” on November 9. later in 2023,” a source said.
